Yes, we lost my Apuka (Daddy in Hungarian) In a blink of an eye. That is how quickly life goes and that is how fast we lost our Apuka. He was not sick at all. We all spoke to him in the morning as usual. I spoke to him int he morning as I do everyday and tell him that I love him as I do always.

April 23, 2010 – 6:44 PM, I was in the car when Joe was driving and I got the phone call. My father was visiting my grandmother in the nursing home. He collapsed and passed away. My strong, loving, giving, pure servant (father, husband and son) left us and went home to Jesus.

Life is too short. It is so important to cherish every moment and and our loved ones.

My mother, sister and I can truly say that we embraced every moment we had together. We kept our priorities straight. We made sure we saw each other at least once a week. We spoke on the phone daily and told each other always that we love each other. We planned activities at least monthly to create memories. (No Regrets).

I have albums filled with memories. Apuka (Daddy) said “YES” to life and every actvity. We are happy that we created so many memories versus some that see each other a few times a year. We made sure that family was always the priority and nothing ever got in the way of that.

He loved going horseback riding, tubing on the Deleware, golfing, bowling, picnics in the park and cherising the little things.

That is what life is made up of. It is a journey of memories. You only take your memories, the love that you gave and how you served with you. That is it and Apuka lived his dash to the fullest. He lived the wealthiest life anyone could live.

I cannot tell you how many people have come up to us even at our weddings last year when they saw our family together and now at my father’s funeral (even the nun) saying that the love that our family has is very unique and rare. It is, we are a very close family. We make sure that we express our love with words, hugs, planning activities, getting together weekly, gifts, cards (in every way we can). It was an abundance in all areas.

It is very rare and unique that most do not get to experience in a lifetime. We have had friends come up to us and say they wish they were as close with their parents or a spousal relationship like my mom had. I know many would be grateful if it was a small percentage. The nun even said she wasn’t that close with her father. She said most people that she speaks to after a parent or spouse passes shares their regrets of not spending enough time or seeing loved ones enough.

Then it hit me. There is a great book called, “The Five Love Languages”. There is a version for parents as well. My dad and mom never read this but I have.

The book states the 5 primary ways that people express their love. Everyone has one maybe two major ways they express their love and therefore receive their love.

1. Words of affirmation – expressing love in words
2. Physical touch – hugs
3. Acts of service – doing things for the other person that are special
4. Gifts – small or big, giving gifts
5. Quality time – spending time together

Then it hit me. Wow, it is rare. My father and mother continuously expressed their love all 5 ways. This is rare and unheard of. I am so blessed and grateful.

My father is the wealthiest man I know. He served unconditionally. My mother, sister and I are the wealthiest because of him.

I have lived such an amazing life because of their love.

We have received phone calls from other children saying that my dad was so amazing, they wish they could say the same about their father who is alive.

Thank you Apuka for your love and lessons. I know you are with Jesus now. I miss you so much.

1.) Visualize/Meditate on Their Goals:

Network marketing leaders and top earners take time preferably first thing in the morning to visualize and meditate on their goals. They have a clear mental picture on the life that they are creating for themselves and others. Remember whatever the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve. Get clear on your vision for the life that you are creating for yourself.

2.) Income Producing Activities/ Massive Action:

Visualization without action is delusion. You visualize and affirm your perfect life but action is required to bring your visualization into your reality. The only time you are working your business is when you are taking action. The two things that will increase your income and produce results are marketing and talking on the phone.

The actual hours that you are working your business is when you are engaged in one of those two activities. Income producing activities include placing ads, marketing and driving traffic to your website. Network marketing leaders and top earners do this daily. Yes they do it while they even traveling too because it is FUN. It is not work.

The word “work” should not even be in your vocabulary. When you can pick up your laptop, travel the world and operate your business; it is a blast. This is what network marketing leaders do daily. It is all about consistency.

3.) Personal Development:

“Work harder on yourself then you do on your business.” – Jim Rohn. Network marketing leaders invest time daily into themselves. They block out time even if it’s a half an hour to read books and listen to mindset cds. Top earners make use of NET (no extra time) time. You have plenty of net time that you can be using for listening to mindset cds including driving your car, exercising, taking walks, cooking, running errands, etc. Use your time wisely.

You become what you think about all day long. Top earners are committed to feeding their minds with positive productive information. They do not bombard their minds with CNN (constant negative news) and reading newspapers. Network marketing leaders are committed to their ultimate vision and focusing on becoming what they think about.

Your income will be a direct reflection of the books you read, cds you listen to and the people you surround yourself with.

4.) Masterminding With Other Network Marketing Leaders:

As I mentioned earlier, your income and lifestyle will be a direct reflection of your friendships. If you take the average income of your five closest friends, then you will come up with your annual income. This is a fact. You become who you surround yourself with. Your thinking is a direct reflection of this. Now, no one is saying to get rid of your friends.

However, if you are committed to increasing your income, then you need to commit to masterminding with network marketing leaders and top earners consistently. This is exactly what I have done and it has resulted in doubling my income in both 2008 and 2009 to a multiple six figure income and being a part of the 3%.

Commit to being coached by a top earner/leader and surrounding yourself with the best. You will look back 12-24 months from now and be glad that you did versus regretting that you didn’t. Take Action Now!

5.) Cultivation and Expectation of Leadership

Network marketing leaders and top income earners play big. If you are committed to having it all then you either play big or you go home. Listen, yes the rewards of being a top 3% income earner are incredible.

The juice is definitely worth the squeeze. However, it requires a commitment, work ethic and being coachable. Do what your coach/leader says and recommends. Do not deviate from the game plan. Top income earners focus on being the person that they visualize to be. Then they do the things that those network marketing leaders do. Then they have the exact results/lifestyle/income that they initially visualized.

Versus:

HAVE – DO – BE (97% of People that set goals operate this way)

The reason why 97% of people that set goals do not achieve them is because they THINK and approach their goals differently. They want to wait to have the results. Then when they have them they will actually commit to taking action and playing big. Ultimately, they hope they will have the lifestyle of a top income earner and leader. Of course this never happens because waiting to step up your game and playing big until the results flow in will never happen.

If you are trapped with the 97% thinking you will NOT get the results of a top income earner and leader. 97% want to wait to see if something works and then they will step up their game and commit to playing full out. You are either in all the way and operate like a 3% or you might as well throw in the towel now, because you will not see the results you came to this industry for.

Faith precedes the miracle. You have to conceive and believe it before it happens. You need to BE the leader first and take massive action to have the results.

Commit to living by the BE-DO-HAVE principle and doing the 5 things that network marketing leaders do daily. Your life will be transformed.

If you implement the following contract with yourself it will work whether you like it, believe in it,
have faith in it or even if you just don’t like it. However, you have to take action on it.

Success Contract for Goal Getting begins with making a success contract with yourself.

Begin by writing down five specific activities that you must complete by the end of the week.

Examples : (change these based on what you would like to create)

1.) I will work out 5 times this week (minimum 30 minutes to begin)

2.) I will read a mindset book 30 minutes daily.

3.) I will spend quality time with my family for 1 Hr. (no distractions – TV, phone, etc)

4.) I will create and distribute 5 videos. (existing marketers/entrepreneurs)

5.) I will write 5 articles. (existing marketers/entrepreneurs)

6.) I will research and find the right mentor, internet business and system so I am in control of
creating my own income from home. I will make a decision by the end of the week.

Of course depending on what specifically you are looking to create this will vary.

 Your Success Contract for Goal Getting

Now comes the important part. You must associate PAIN with NOT achieving your
goals by the end of the week.

Write out a contract stating each item that you will complete by the end of the week. Put each
item in writing and state it in the present tense.

In your contract with yourself, state the following “For each item that I do not complete by the
end of the week, I will rip up 2 dollar bills.”

Now go to the bank take a $20 bill (or whatever currency you use), exchange it for 20 singles.
Paper clip two dollar bills together so you have your 5-10 piles ready for the end of the week.

Make sure you have your contract in front of you along with your stacks of bills.

Your commitment to excellence and consistency is follow through and rip up the stacks that have not been completed.

Ouch, is this painful for you!

Great, commit to taking action on this and watch your life transform. You will be consistent and live the great life.

When you have pain associated with not taking action, you will get yourself into action regardless
of whether you like it, believe it or even if you just don’t like it.

The Success Contract With Yourself for Goal Getting works.

To recap:

1.) Make a list of 5 items that you would like to complete by the end of the week.

2.) Make a contract with yourself specifically stating that for each item you do not complete you
will rip up 2 dollar bills. Keep the contract in front of you. Take action on your weekly goal list.

3.) Make sure you have the dollar bills (or currency of choice) at the beginning of the week so you
can follow through at the end of the week.

I was first introduced to the network marketing industry 5 years ago. The first 4 years
was nothing but challenges, struggles and a large credit card debt. I spent the first three
years in traditional “old school” mlm and I did everything my upline told me to do.
